Fuzzy: good luck with whatever tests that they need the blood work for.

Not much going on here, just passing my lunch period trying to catch up. That durn up must be strapped to a fast moving rocket (or a deer)...

 

Mornin' kids. Not a lot of activity huh? You guys have usually rattled off a few pages by the time I check in. Have we reached the end of the lifespan?

I dig the new Battlestar Galactica. I have also gotten into Heroes. Of course it's only possible because of the VOD Netflix box and the Direct TV DVR. With those devices I'm able to watch commercial free which was really the only enticement that got me started on them. Now I'm hooked on both. I also enjoyed Rescue Me but the last season I watched was a little lame. There should be a new one coming on DVD soon so we'll see how it is.

So, anybody else around? Sorry about your son Tracy. Sick kids and the middle of the night go hand in hand don't they?

 

Yeah... it has been quite slow lately. Maybe it is just the time of year... Everything is in a slump. It feels like we are all waiting for the other shoe to drop; however, in this case... it is a giant centipede, and there are many more shoes to ker-thunk.

Then again... maybe it is me... I am a thread killer.

 

I think I get the medal as ultimate thread killer, you all's go to sleep too early!!!!

I know most of us have younger children; but is there anyone here who taught their son to shave (I am assuming Rolls but other than that...)?

Well... the good news is that you have a cold and your nose is stuffed up.... really...

 

Two girls for me, 11 and 8 (on the 28th). My older came to us last spring with concerns of leg hair. I thought she was a little young to start shaving, but I also figured that if she was old enough to feel self conscious about it that maybe she was old enough to do something about it. This was before I discovered and became hooked on "traditional" wetshaving, when I used a cartridge and canned goo. SWMBO picked her up a cheapy wet/dry electric. It does the job, I guess - haven't heard anything since. I think she only uses it once every 1½-2 weeks. I have considered getting her a vintage ladies Gillette, but, well.....she's only 11. She's liable to slice herself up pretty darn good.


As for the slow down - I've actually been a little bit busy here at work!

 

I didnt think of it that way..................OTOH: my medicine doesnt taste nearly as good
