Nice report, Joseph. I'm happy you got a replacement tub without issues. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Once again, I didn't rinse off enough water from my brush before loading. I paid for it in the first pass as my face and neck looked like a solid combination of water and soap. Not good. 2nd pass was much better as the soap settled down to "look more like soap". That's a key focus for me this month-to graduate from Rinse University by month's end(did RU make the Final 4? Chuk-yuk-yuk). Anyway, all in all another fine shave with Central Texas soap/Clubman Special Reserve. (Course the Stoylin brush was a factor).
Oh, I know how to shift a manual without clutching. Auto transmissions really don't have much to do shaving, but I thought I'd drop it in. Present a sharp enough instrument, at the right angle, use enough force (pressure, momentum), and you will sever hair. How you get there is up to you.
Sounds just "Peachie" to me. I better fire up the Glastonbury (or something close) to get thru this one.
Wonderful shave and photo Joseph @Primotenore . I am glad the vendor sorted out the issue with the cream. Clearly something is different.
Usually house arguments are more about control than about the house. Being a certified control freak, I’ve had to learn that very few things are worth arguing with my wife over. If they were, I’d be eating a TV dinner for 1. Good luck with that, Charlie. I’ve looked several times and determined the user friendliness isn’t quite there for my wife yet, but I’m an HD sports snob, so that exacerbates the problem. I’m interested in what you come up with. FWIW, locals are available by antenna, which can easily be made with items available in any front yard in Kentucky. Awesome stuff. Thanks for sharing. This is the beginning of a long road, brother. If this is your first, then you will quickly learn that you just went from riding shotgun to sitting quietly in the back seat. After having two girls, I decided to stop before they stuffed me in the trunk. This is you WITH a filter? Wow.
April 2 and another Arko shave. Good morning all. Loaded the Gillette Fat Boy with a Feather Blade and opened another Feather for the 2cd pass. Got really nice lather with the bore brush this morning, regardless of my hard water. 2 uneventful passes with a new blade for each pass. What I like about using a new blade each pass is that I get a close shave that lasts almost an entire work day. Now this razor reminded me why I like a light razor. On the top of the gord I get scraped a little if I am not careful, I was not. So a little scrape, but no blood. Some Nivea to finish and ready for the day. The paper around the Arko is getting bad, but the soap is working fine. To all Enjoy tp
Hi Charlie and welcome! Glad you could join us! You remind me of someone but I can't figure out why. Do you have any relatives in Kentucky?
Anyone like Wilkie’s? I’ve determined after shaving with them for a week that I don’t. This has resulted in the potential giveaway of the century, as I’ve now got about five blades without a home. I’m not a big fan of personnas either so I may try them this week to rule them out. If you wait, I might combine the two, increasing the cash value to around $.87, which will actually exceed the cost of the stamp. If anyone has significant interest in this, p.m. me, as otherwise they’re going in the trash.
