    April 2 SOTD:

    Razor: Parker Variant
    Blade: Astra SP
    Brush: PAA The Green Ray
    Lather: PAA John Frum
    Aftershave: PAA John Frum

    I left to College Station for a training class today, so I had a little extra time. A cup of coffee was in order. The shave itself was OK, but I think the blade had reached end of life. I would rate it a CCS. The soap and AS however were terrific. I honestly can't do the scent justice, so I would recommend reading @120inna55's review here. It is an instant favorite of mine.

    We are breaking for dinner, but this training class goes until 10:00 this evening, and then we pick up with another one tomorrow morning. Long days. I hope everyone has a great day!

    I'm tempted by that soap and aftershave. I know if I ordered it I would add Supreme Sandalwood and Cavendish so I'm going to stay away.

    I have recently acquired both of those as well, and they are all worthy additions. I doubt you would regret any of them.

    Tokyo Shave:

    Big meeting today so I decided to bring one of my top straights and my stick of Tabac. Epic shave, hope the rest of the day goes this good. Flying back to Seoul after the meeting.

    Last night we meet a friend and had some shabu shabu and sake. While Tokyo is an expensive city there are some outstanding restaurants.

    Same here and ditto.

    No shave today; yesterday was one more with the English FB Tech and 7 o'Clock Permasharp. Tomorrow, I get to try a razor that has long been on my want list- a Gillette Senator.

    I love the scent from the Felce Aromatica but there's something a little extra in the Route 66. I can't quite figure out what it is since they share a lot of the same scent profile. My plan is to match whichever I decide to keep with GIT as it compliments both well. I want to get down to 12 complete sets; soap, aftershave and cologne
