    4th gen British Aristocrat with a Bic blade.

    Smooth shave but will cut you if you are not careful. It is easy to shave this one with too much pressure it is that smooth and mild feeling. For a Bic blade the closeness of the shave is somewhere between the New short comb and DeLuxe but smoother than any New or Goodwill if I had to compare it against razors I've recently used.

    Beautiful I am lucky to have two of them both from No 66 sets, one with a patent pending and one with a patent number and “II” on the underside. Love them both...

    Maiden voyage for the slim, at least to me off course, and boy, did I have to check if a blade was in it. Really mild but really enjoyable shave

    I just checked mine and it is a pre 55 patent pending one. I don't have the case so I wouldn't know which set it originated in.

    Open all the way throughout the 4 passes, didn't even felt the need to dial it down.

    I don't know if I would call 9 mild on a Slim but it certainly isn't overly aggressive either. When I use mine I set it at 9 also without any issues.

    I do recall that my Black Beauty had more blade feel.

    Nothing compared to a Merkur Future that's for sure.

    But sometimes a laid back shave is all we need.
