Thanks Andrew! I will be using my badger brush the entire month. Obviously, I just want to thank you again for those samples that turned me onto Stirling. The Dovo shavette and I are one. Everyone swears by the Parkers, the Feathers, etc. and that's cool, but I will never replace this baby with another shavette. It will always be my one and only. Lol!
Thank you, Perry! It is an outdoor activity class, and we are supposed to be out in the evening. We just wrapped it up a bit early, though. It was actually pretty fun.
Tuesday evening April 2 - Rule shave #20 Delta Echo refurbished Gillette Fatboy on 4 / Rapira Swedish Supersteel (1) Simpsons CH2 Chubby Synthetic Bristles brush MWF/Kent in beechwood tub Alum and Polar Ice Booster splash Same old, same old. Good shave.
Arko Adjustable April April 2 Razor - 1960 (F4) Gillette Toggle (9) Blade - (2) Soap - Arko Brush - Jayaruh #54 Post - Alum Let's get day two out of the way with the same setup as last night, but substitute in the JR54 brush for the Arko. Nice to see this brush back in the lineup and it took about 2 seconds to get a fantastic lather. Or so it seemed. The Voskhod in the Toggle is smooth as silk, two passes, some touch up, and the baby is in the house, or close enough to call it that anyway. Nice finish to a rather busy but fun day. It started with health insurance and just prior to the shave it ended with some of the best Italian food in the area. Toasted Cannelloni covered in Provel cheese from Stefaninas here in O'Fallon. Mmmmm, mmmmm good. Hope you had as fun and as tasty a day as I did! And here's hoping for a fantastic Wednesday!
Doesn't work that way. Someone has to be so bold as to tug on The Queen's hem. Should she choose to turn and look at the offender, your best hope is that she'll be distracted by the moving target. Some times the CT sticks as suggested. Other times the person that "poked the bear" gets it.
