  1. Excellent photo, Jason! Soap Commander is wonderful stuff. Can you get their new splashes through a Canadian retailer? They're expensive but also great quality.

  3. Thanks, Perry.
Soap Commander products are available in Canada through Italian Barber (there was another retailer I used who had SC stuff but they pulled the plug). Unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet) , IB only seems to have the soaps, balms and bath soaps from Soap Commander at this point.
  4. Thank you, Gentlemen.
  5. Very popular amongst the 'Hey, I need to get a divorce' crowd...
  6. Sounds like it was a good day, Neal. I'm curious as to which soap you put in the lidded soap bowl in the background?
  7. You often see it caged in these:

  8. You are doing a lot better than I would ever do, John. Even when I did my rule 2 1/2 years ago, I couldn't make it through the month on one soap. Razor and Brush? Yup. Soap? Nope.
That right there is the definitive BamaSamurai combo!
...Is all not quiet in Colorado?
Have you tried any of the Creed Silver Mountain Water dupes such as Stirling Mountain Man? I ask because it is also apparently considered unisex. I'm not even sure what a scent unisex, to be honest.
We'll leave the light on for you, Chris.
I don't recall seeing that splash posted anywhere, Fuzzy. Is that a local product down there?
Another beaut, Jim. Looks like you've got Williams figured out for sure.
Super combo and pic, Perry. I think I need to bring out the Proraso green as well, it definitely qualifies as neglected these days in my den.
Stunning. I've come to realize that I just really like the look of OC razors. The regular bar version of the Karve is cool looking enough, the OC version has virtually assured itself a place in my den.
    Stunning, part deux!
Do you have cherry trees growing on your property, Danny? I may have to come and visit. Love that wood.
I know what you mean, John. I love the look of those Gillette OC TTOs as well. Someday I'll walk into a mint '34 Aristocrat (or more likely I'll overpay for a compromised Senator).
  9. Thanks, Jason!
Funny thing about today's picture. I tried to post it in B&W and the forum wouldn't let me. Said I was uploading an "adult image". Very curious.

  10. Thanks, Jason!
  11. Day 89.

Today went much better than yesterday. The Arko was its usual awesome self. I brough out the Karve with E plate and a fresh Permasharp Super for the finishing touches. And to join the chorus of enablers. ;)

  13. We have a few. The one that this wood came from was actually struck by lightning after we cut the timber from around it. It was a large tree and I was wanting to leave it but being a single tall tree on a knoll was a lightning magnet. We still have a lot of hardwood and we even have a few scaly (shagbark) hickorys. The photo below is a google copy.

  14. Great photo and the Karves are getting the love this week. I have a "E" plate coming in and I cannot what to see how it does.
  15. Nice shave, Robert!
  16. It's part of the Clubman family. Mainly aimed at barber shops, I think.

  17. Thank you, Jim!
  18. Thanks, Danny. I love mine. I need to try an open comb, too.
  19. I need to get one coming too.. I keep looking at Clints @clint64 and this happens.
