Actually, it is still, alas, an empty soap bowl. Everything I have is in tubs (mostly because the majority is Stirling) and I have the MWF and Tabac containers as well. The only thing I've had in it has been my selection of non-Russian blades for March. Just a convenient place to keep them all together and off of my desk where they get scattered. At some point I will make some decisions on cutting down the varieties of Stirling to a few favs - and my number one soap will end up in that bowl and I'll buy just refill pucks. That's my plan anyway.

Yes. Make sure you have enough towels, water, and a shop vac to remove all of the excess lather that Arko will make if you aren't careful. And, if any gets on the floor don't step in it - you'll slide into the next room. The scent is, in my opinion, more lemony than anything. Definitely not as much of a citronella odor as Williams puts out.

Nah, nothing wrong with it, save for a scent that some (including moi) do not like. It is what it is- an incredibly priced, functional soap. Slick enough, but a little drying, imho.
The way some speak of Arko or Williams- with reverence based on price and quality- is the way I speak of the Palmolive stick.

Mark - it that an @oscar11 brush handle? I don't own any transparent ones, but that is quite the eye candy!

Sounds like you have a plan with the contingencies already in place. I hate to see folks put stuff in long term rental storage. It's OK for a quick moment or month but leaving it there for years cost bucks and the stuff doesn't gain value sitting there.

Good looking unit, John. You'll get the bugs worked out, or I'll be tempting you to trade it to me. I wonder if prior to a gold wash nickel plating is required?I think it is for gold plating.
