For me, the black handled Super Speeds and Adjustables are my least favourite Gillettes. Functionally they are fine and they offer a nice, smooth shave but I just think they represent the culmination of the company's penny pinching efforts that started in the mid 60's with less metal in the razors, poorer plating and lower quality cases. Still, every now and then I pull one out and shave as a change from my regular razors.

This one is a V2 which at 1975 puts it right in the middle of the 23 year span (1966-1988) these models were produced.

 

Canadian Rocket or is it a 2nd gen British Aristocrat Jr. It was sold as both and in this case I acquired this from a Canadian seller so it may have began it's retail life as a Rocket. Shave with a Bic blade, this razor shaves like a really smooth 3pc post war Tech. This is a very easy razor to shave with but not a very close shaver.

 

Both BB's (Super 84 and 109) will be more aggressive at 9 than a Slim partially due to the gap difference besides blade exposure possibly being different.
