    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Gillette Platinum Plus
    Razor: Schick M1
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
    Soap: C.O. Bigelow
    Post: Witch hazel, Country Club for Men Modern Fougere aftershave

    Another easy shave with Bigelow cream. Schick M1 adjustable on the highest setting worked quite well. Everything came together for a nice shave. Will shift to The Fat for tomorrow's shave and am looking forward to it.

    This week has gone by fast. Even while playing bachelor, I have shown some restraint this week. Earlier this week, I had the MdC Agrumes and a new Epsilon brush in my cart at Gifts & Care and thought better of buying anything. Just last night I discovered Shavemac is making a synthetic brush and I went through the configuration and added to my cart only to not buy again. I am not sure how long the restraint will last but I have made it through the week thus far. Now onto the shave which was a drama free three pass shave. With touch ups, I managed to end up with the baby in hand. I really enjoy work morning shaves like this with little to no thought and great results. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

    Great shave and picture, Clint! You have showed great restraint this week. Well, so far anyway.

    I've done the same with some PAA soap and aftershave sets and A&E soaps and splashes. So far I haven't clicked the buy now button.

    Thank you, Clint! It's going by quickly. I've been fighting a cold and seem to have a low grade fever now. Busy day at work so I can't bail. Take some medicine and power through.

    I bounced back in good form today with Stoylin Sandpiper soap&A.S., following my sub-par shave of Wednesday. Took a little extra work, though, as once again I skimmed over sections of my right facial area. 2 full passes plus the half to correct the right side error.

    Oh man...I hope you're better by parade date.

    Me too, Paul! My colds tend to stick around for 10 days or so. I started some of the symptoms last week so hopefully I'm on the latter half of it.

    Same shave the last few days and all I needed was a single pass with a minimal amount of jawline touch up... It is good to use the Arko stick again. Great performance with minimal effort. I still have 18 Arko sticks to work through. A few years ago I found myself with 3 cases of the stuff when it was on sale under a buck a stick... Eventually I will get through it all. Enjoy your day.

    I wanted to stay in good terms with the 30DC group so I brought out the Executive Adjustable for April adjustables this morning. Nice close shave with no weepers, nicks or blood loss. The Murphy and McNeil soap provided great cushion and slickness.

    Finish up with a little Nivea and Clubman.
