Just wait till you meet @Bama Samurai in person at the meetup. You should have no trouble recognizing him in the hotel lobby.
That's ok. I was pulling for him to win in the end anyway. And, just for the record, I would love it if Game of Thrones ended with the White Walkers as the victors. We don't have enough stories of the "bad guys" winning, and I think George R.R. is the guy to tell that story.
Have fun, Brian. I bet Portland is an interesting place to visit. There's bound to plenty of antique shops. I hope you get some free time to explore them. Safe travels.
If she likes the look of the 30DC LE - I can't wait to see her reaction to the Meet Up LE that's in the works. Yes, I've seen a preview. It's good to be the Czar.
Very cool, Danny! I hope you all had fun. You're getting better at frosting now that your granddaughter is helping you.
Another perfect match, Jim. The birth year slim looks great as well. Looks like a great start to the day, Perry. After reading this, Clint, I looked around a bit and it appears that Shavemac will apparently only be offering their synthetics in full brushes, and not in their knot configurator. That will save me a bit of quid, I think. Nice combo, Danny. +1 I wonder how close those Ranger Techs are to the British Aristocrat Jrs from the same era, Jim. They do look quite similar. Mind you, I guess the regular SS looks similar as well. Nice Black and White, James. High praise, indeed, Joseph. If Stirling, Mystic Water and B&M count for you as mid-range, what makes your high-range?
Razor: Gillette Black Beauty w/case & blade pack. (R-2) 1971 Blade: Personna 74 Tungsten Steel (7) Brush: JJ-8 Marine Corps build by Jim Joseph (@jimjo1031) Soap: Jeeves Soap Blood & Steel TSD Charlie (@wristwatchb) A/S: Floid Aftershave Bowl: 3 D Printer by Tom (?) The Marine JJ-8 brush whipped up TSD Blood & Steel into a great lather. The Gillette is a mild razor even with the Personna Tungsten Steel blade on 9. Three passes and a clean up and everything is fine. I am a big fan of the Floid aftershave.
Put one of those machines in your office, Clint, and you'll pick up a few more clients. I'm available if you need some part-time help. I'll handle the 1040EZ's and change the kegs.
Humm. Interesting concept. I don't recall seeing an old stick of ARKO. When you shop them like Dale @PanChango did it's a possibility. From the parent company Evyap; "Since 1957, it stayed the same." As far as I can tell it's not been reformulated. A stick might dry out but ARKO is eternal.
Thanks, Jason. The Slim is in really good shape. I'll get a few more shaves in with it then I'll switch back to the Fatboy. I want to get the Rex out for Adjustable April as well. Today's brush is actually more of a copper color but the sun reflecting off the soap label cast an orange hue on everything. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Very nice combo and pic, Doug. Do you find there is much of a difference between that Italian Floid 'Genuine' and the Spanish 'Vigoroso' versions?
I'm actually not sure what this means, and that's not even being sarcastic... Edit- I'm a little slow on the uptake...No, Simpson didn't label these ones!
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is the the master! Thanks Jason. He would drink up all of the profit!
