Thank you Jason. I find the Vigoroso has a little more bite when you apply it. The scent is different, however, I'm not the person to venture a guess at the difference. I believe Joseph (@Primotenore) has both products and could properly answer your inquire.

Yeesh, who else did you root for in the movies. Scar from The Lion King? Jack from The Shining?Lord Humungous from The Road Warrior? Caligula?

I'd advise you lay low on the jokes, Danny, you are less than 72 hours from somehow avoiding a CT...:)

Her question was is this English? So there is no way that sentence is grammatically correct. :o

I'm not quite that evil. I loved the Harry Potter series but you know that the final ending will give Harry the victory and once again (as usual) show good triumphing over evil. I would have enjoyed the reaction of all of the fans if J.K. had given them the final twist on the story. When it comes to GOT - George proved early on that this was no ordinary story, and he has killed off more people than anyone could have imagined. Mostly the good guys too. I think the logical conclusion of the story would give the White Walkers the victory, perhaps only over Westeros while the rest of the world remained "free". Almost seems a fitting end to the warring, squabbling and greedy nature of all of the kingdoms. I also think George is the only author with the moxie to do just that.

I will say that I was totally satisfied with the ending of No Country for Old Men. I thought having the bad guy walk away free fit that particular story arc perfectly. While the old sheriff faced his own mortality. Coen Brothers magic. If it makes you feel any better, I did cheer when Andy escaped Shawshank and his friend joined him in Mexico. Justice done.

    Thanks for the kind replies.

Me and @NCoxSTL began to discover, after much trial and error, that much of wet shaving advice given to newbies is misguided or simply wrong. Blade samplers are my biggest example. They make no sense, yet are blindly recommended through regurgitating "conventional wisdom".

What other axioms should we formulate as we continue to rewrite "How to convert to traditional gear from carts"?

I was just poking fun, Neal. Totally a George R R thing to do, no question. Especially as the 'good guys' right now include a corpse brought back from the dead and his aunt (albeit unknowingly) who he is sleeping with...and an incestuous exile whose previous claim to fame was stabbing his king at the time in the back...
Yup, agreed. Ironically, I was going to list Anton Chigurh as someone you potentially rooted for...

Pre Shave oils. While I do know some on here use them, I would believe the percentage of experienced wetshavers who rely on them daily would be quite low.

I know, Danny! All is good!
I've come to accept a CT as an inevitability. Even Randy got one. The Shavey Awards could only delay it for so long.

Mild razors and 'smoother' blades. It's easier to learn crap technique if the risk of cutting yourself is lower. I found that I got better shaves from my milder razors after spending time with the OCMM and the Schick with a Proline blade! I would like to follow this up by saying that I do not advocate one type of blade or razor over another. I am saying that it is not 'good' advice to start mild and work your way up!

Oh, and STOP RECOMMENDING MERKUR 34C AND EJ DE89! Recommend a bloody tech or something if they must go mild...
