  1. I’m not a fan of most Stirling scents so I might need to look at that one.

  2. Always good for a laugh, you are! Parts of my head chose to go bald naturally. I just shave the I decisive bits!

  3. Good looking shave Perry.
  4. O.K. guys...I am letting the cat out of the bag and I am so excited it ain't funny. I have been talking with Graydog @SWR913 about turning a couple of handles for me. I was trying to trade him some cherry wood for turning two handles but he said to just send him enough wood for my handles and he would not charge me anything. That is what we settled on and he is a super guy but I told him I would send him more wood than necessary for my project. He could use the remaining wood for future projects. He got the wood in yesterday and has already turned one handle. I ask him to style it after a Kent handle that I fell it love with. The handle turned out beautiful and the work that Graydog does is awesome. I was trying to figure out what knot to put in it but I think this bad boy needs a blooming badger. What are y'all thoughts on a knot? Thanks Graydog I love it!:happy093:

  5. Thank you, Perry!
  6. My deepest sympathy for your lose Brian. I will remember you and your family in my prayers.
  7. Fantastic report and photo Jim. Which A&E soaps do you have and which is your favorites. I am with you on Feather blades. I love them in general and really like them on the first use.

  10. Good picture and write up Joseph. Beautiful brush!
  11. When I get done with it here in a couple of weeks, I'd happily send it to you for a test drive.

  13. 24mm but I do not know the depth.

I was a bit pressed for time this morning, so just a quick one-pass CCS with the Schick Stick loaded with a Japanese Twin.
  15. Do you prefer a knot that has a lot of backbone?
  16. Congrats, Danny! It's a beautiful handle!
I only have a few uses with mine but the Maggards SHD badger is worthy of consideration. I don't know where Grizzly Bay sources their knots but the two band are great badgers. There is also the Maggards 70/30 badger/boar. I used mine this morning and it's quite the digger. TGN Finest and Envy White Supreme would be fine choices as well. I can't really comment on synthetics, they all feel pretty much the same to me.

  17. I agree with Jim. The Envy White is an incredible knot. I have 2 of them.
  18. You should be bragging, that is an excellent turn around for her. Congratulations for both of you.

That is sad, it sounds like she touched many lives, my sympathies to you and the family.

What a great way to start your Friday, with an epic shave.
  19. Thank you, Clint!
I have Cacao Lussuria, which is as the name suggests is a chocolatey scent if you're into that sort of thing. Cafe Au Lait has cocoa in it so my nose picks up a lot of the chocolate in the soap but the aftershave has a strong black coffee undertone that is just wonderful. Barbiere Sofisticato is probably the favorite. Not a traditional barbershop scent that I would agree with the name, sophisticated. L'Orange Verte, Asian Plum and Summer Fig are all bright somewhat sweet scents. None of them have been disappointments and I'm happy to have them and would gladly add more of their offerings.
