  1. Sashimi is just the raw fish. No rice. Just slices of raw fish. Delish.

  2. Deliciousnessawesomissferouness
  3. Sorry Trac, I'll try to not talk about it too much ;)

Oddly, it's usually more expensive too.
  4. I really like Sapporo and Kirin, too....I get them when we go to the local Japanese steak house - Sakura. Haha, of course, last time we go we get the Hispanic chef. Just didn't sit right. He was just as good as any of the other chefs, but still....The really funny thing is that the week before we went to a Mexican restaurant and had an American waitress...

What's this world coming to when you can't go to an ethnic restaurant and get that culture's own people?? Friggin' diversity training...
  5. In other news today, I got in the mail, one gold adjustable, one TM Latigo/horsehide Strop, one decant of Blenheim bouquet, and 1 vintage personna blades.
  6. True, but America is the big melting pot.

I have noticed going to Indian establishments, usually the entire staff is Indian.
  7. We could use Doug's wikiup!!!
Would the tuna...nope, never mind, that's seared on the outside IIRC, but still raw inside. I can't think of the name of that right now, but I absolutely love that one.....

I'm gonna have to hit the Wegman's on my way into work tomorrow. They have a pretty good sushi bar there...
  8. OH, did you get that from Mr. Tadashi? I thought that other guy...Mike something bought it...I was hoping to get my TM strop today, but no....probably tomorrow while I'm at night work. Doesn't matter, I don't have any honed up straights yet, so it'll go unused for another week or so...
  9. Goodnight all, time for some sleep.
  10. Good night Tracy.
  11. We call that bait.. I like the california rolls some.. but not the raw fish.. yuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

    Fuzzy
  12. Night Tracy give the little batman a hug from the uncles.. maybe he will not kick dad out of bed tonight.

    Fuzzy
  13. Yeah, I got it from Tad, he's in Portland so only took a day to get here. It's in great shape, the nick on it is nothing, plus it's near the end of the strop. Great workmanship on the thing. You should be pleased.
  14. How's it going fuzzy?

That's ok if you don't like it, save the fishies for me.
  15. good night Tracy.

I'm out too. I have to get up early for the kids, and stay up (sometimes I go to sleep since I'm on nightwork). I have an interview with an ambulance company up here near my house for some part time work. Wish me luck.
  16. Gnight Matt, big day for me tomorrow, I hope to find something good in the AM.
  17. I think you'd like curry. You like jambalaya and good, spicy gumbo, right?

I'm really glad to be living in such a culturally diverse city. I love being in such close proximity to good food from different parts of the world.
  18. Cabrito isn't bad eatin. I have Registered White Angora goats that I shear 2xs/year and sell Mohair.
  19. Yummificationousness.

Per piece it is, but the pieces of fish are usually quite a bit bigger than the fish that's on nigiri sushi. At least at the places where I go.

Around here, the Indian places are staffed by Indians, Korean places by Koreans, Brazilian places by Brazilians, Lebanese places by Lebanese, etc., etc.. There are a lot of different ethnic groups in Boston.

Tuna Tataki. I love the stuff.

Good night to both of you.
  20. 2 Things:

    1. I bought goat milk today. Tastes different than cow's milk, but is good.

    2. My heat pump smells like it's burning. Not good.
