  1. That is an amazing knot and a beautiful handle. Thanks for the input.
  2. I've got a about 20 shaves under my belt with the OCMM... It certainly is a good razor

The fact that you think it will arrive in time for MAYhem :happy102:
  3. I meant just what I said, one of these.

I assumed you were talking about this. Haven't tried it...yet.

Haven't made the investment for a brand name unit. If these are as good as Q-Shave and Ming Shi clones I think I'd get in just to sport the BoPS tag!
  4. Excellent shave and photo, Chris.

  7. Do really have to let him vent?
Or, does one suppose it will happen anyway.
  8. You are right.......it will happen anyway. No stopping it.
  9. O.K. I could not resist. I have the razor coming as well but I did not get a discount because I had ordered from them before. This should get interesting.
  10. I bet it will be here in 10 to 14 days.

  13. Anyone had any experiences with a cashmere knot? I know I was leaning toward a badger but I do like the looks of these knots.

  15. Too late. This Mod is trying to figure out what I can pawn to get one. They had me interested at "Super High Density" and spiced it up doing a fan top. I've got a couple pieces of cypress that would make a good home for one. Unless I go with the pecan, live oak, or satsuma that's seasoning.
  16. Beautiful brush and razor combination.
  17. Beautiful brush Jim.

Another early morning shave with an afternoon post. Today has been brutal for many reasons, but needed a 15 min sanity break here with the 30DC.
Had a very nice shave this morning. The CH2, aka the 'Soap Destroyer' to many of you on here, whipped up a fine lather (it isn't a pun if it is the same word...). This soap didn't make my 'favourites' list for February, but only because I prefer the scent of L'Orange Noir a little more. In general, though, I have come to really enjoy the Fine soaps, and enjoy all of their dupes (also have Fresh Vetiver) I've tried.
The Executive Man is also obviously a well-known Aventus close as well, and is a quality product too. It came as an add on to a small order I made a month or so ago with some shampoo bars and a bottle of Baker Street. Maybe a full bottle purchase at some point, but probably after I've finished up one or two others.
    Have a great day, all!
