The old red IH tractors are absolutely classic. One of my uncles was a mechanic for the local IH dealer in the town I grew up.

The IH are great farm equipment. We had a Cockshut tractor that worked very well.

I have come to suspect that many of the high-end Gillette Russian blades are very similar. I have wondered on here before how much difference there is between the ‘Platinum’ blades from St. Petes, same for the ‘Stainless’ ones. No hard evidence, of course, just an understanding that many of the blades we buy were meant for specific markets only (for example, the Persian writing on the side of Nacet packs) and simply use names from past blades (your Minora example is one, current PermaSharps are another). We know that many blades used to be made in different countries and are now made centrally by Gillette (Polsilver, Astra etc). Obviously, coatings are different- I’m not saying every blade is the same, but I am questioning how big is the difference between say, a Nacet, a 7 o’Clock Green, a Minora, a PermaSharp etc, that are all made in the same place and are all Stainless. Same goes for Platinum (Astra SP, Gillette Platinum, 7 OClock yellows, etc), Iridium (Polsilver, Wizamet) or Teflon (GSB, Sputnik). Love ‘em.
Indian Gillettes can definitely be different- they aren’t made at the same place.

Thanks for the inside trader option Keith. I'm giving those that have purchased that Chinese clone a chance to test and compare to the real thing first. I've used both SR and shavette. In SR <5/8 up to 7/8+ & various hollows to wedges. Shavettes in 1/2 DE and Weck with longer hair shaper blades. If those clones or the CJB take 1/2 DE refills I'm considering it. The Japanese kamisori have caught my eye but I'd go Western symmetrical grind being left handed if I shopped one. That would also put me back in the hone shopping group so I've avoided looking too hard.
