    Day 93.

    Out comes the Movkba for a few shaves. 3 nice smooth passes, and finished the neck with the Karve.
    Outstanding scent and lather from Stirling R4L. I have lots of soaps that I keep around because they excel at one or the other. Soaps that excel at both make up a pretty short list. R4L is pretty high on that list for me.

    I probably confuse many folks with my screen name and avatar.

    I was a huge fan of the Max Headroom series. They were way ahead of their time an fell prey to the TV show shuffle.

    April 7 SOTD:

    Razor: Gem Damaskeene
    Blade: Gem Stainless
    Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts Aurora
    Lather: Hemingway Supreme Shaving Creme
    Aftershave: Old Spice Vintage

    A nice, relaxled Sunday morning shave this morning with a cup of coffee and my 3 year old watching. Since I had a little time, and the sun was up, I took the setup outside for the photo. The clover weed is taking over, and there doesn't seem to be much I can do.

    I used the Hemingway SC @Primotenore offered up on the BST. This is the tub that had granules, which were immediately evident. I used a Tuxedo knot, as this has a fair amount of stiffness, to see if I could work some of them out. The lather worked up fairly well, but a few of the granules remained, and it is certainly possible that none of them went away. But the creme is slick and protective. Really, I could see this taking a top spot in my den, even with the granules. The scent is quite nice, with a lot of grapefruit to my nose. I got just a hint of some tobacco and cedar. It was very lightly scented, but I would definitely consider the matching AS. The post shave is terrific, and no PSB is needed. When paired with the Damaskeene, an easy DFS was had on two passes. A Sunday morning pre church shave doesn't get much better. I hope everyone is having a great day!

    One of my brothers retired from organizing and conducting symphony orchestras in Australia. He is now teaching private lessons 5 days a week. Like you he likes to keep busy.
