It's getting difficult to find fried gizzards. Walmart & Kroger Delis stopped keeping them. Market Bucket still does, but not the closest store to the house. There's a gas station/bait shop way on the other side of town that makes em when you order - best fresh and not setting under warming lights. Gizzards are not for the dentured. I prefer mine with ketchup and hot sauce.

Understand, they ain't for everyone.

I've tried several Cremo products, but not the Reserve line. The solid chunk of cologne is curious. How's the scent?

Regular Cremo is slick enough to keep a tube around. The Cooling mentholated is good, too. I still have a bottle of the balm, but prefer alcohol splashes so I don't use it much.

Cremo has quit marketing several of their products. The balm isn't around in the regular scent, and Ladies Cremo is gone. I wonder if this Reserve line has been discontinued? Might check that bin for Vie Long made / Cremo labeled Horse hair brushes...

When I was a kid we got them at the local Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise. Back when the Colonel ran the show. Those were good. These days there are a couple of gas stations not too far from me that carry them but they're pretty awful. Much better to have Sra Hutchinson fry them up fresh. The local carnicerías all sell them raw.

This is a "Reserve Blend". Back of the box states, top-spiced citrus, middle - bourbon, base-oak vetiver. I really like the scent. The store I purchases these at does handle a lot of closed out products.

Sooo.......I got up this morning, struggled making coffee.....and caught up from last night. Pretty quiet around here this morning. We decided to go grab some chicken and sides and head up to the nearest State Park for a picnic. Here's the view where we sat, in 79 degree weather! On April 7th!

Took a hike through another area of the park and the underbrush there is starting to green up. Also had a creek and pond in that area that is FULL of very noisy frogs. Guess Spring is here, or at least close enough to call it that. Came home and found that everyone got up late around here so I just caught up. Happy Sunday everybody and great shaves so far. I'm still debating between the Fatboy, Qshave or Consul for the next few shaves. Decisions, decisions.
