I'm still 100+ post behind. It's like reading yesterdays newspaper. Informative yet I wonder if the situation has already changed or resolved.

If I understand Cartel procedures, multiple forms and rubles under the table are required when making any "report". Maybe a detente, exchange of prisoners, cookies and ice cream can happen?

Every chicken, in excess of 53 billion each year, has a gizzard and liver. I'm not getting my share. That's just commercial meat chickens & not counting old laying hens used in Campbells soup or back yard home grown birds.

Maybe that's where I'm slipping. My recent purchases or lack there of have been made stone cold sober. It's a diminishing returns game. Buy adult beverages, can't afford shave gear?

 

It generally comes down to bribery.

Monday Blues Shave

I usually go with a safety razor on Monday mornings, today the Cobra Classic was my weapon of choice. I had a love-hate relationship with this brush, the handle is very cool, made of bog oak but the D01 knot had too much backbone for my taste. Fortunatley I did not give up on it and now it is nicely broken and a pleasure to use.

Actually, I'm surprised the Cartel hasn't diversified into Twinkies. So much easier to monopolize. People make their own cookies. When's the last time you had a homemade Twinkie?

It's all fun and games until an eposode of Macbeth breaks out.

 

Something about the Sabine river has kept them away. When in Beaumont I try to visit The Running Chicken on the north side, west of the shopping mall on Texas 105. Gizzards and dill pickles (both battered and deep fried) are all I've ever tried there.
