Randy, it sure is freeing to get a CT and worry less about what it might be when it happens! Now if I could get you and Charlie @wristwatchb to quit kicking each under the table when we scheme on who's next... Uh oh, Paul. No one gets the one they want. They get what they deserve. I'll agree that #2 would be fun.
Have you tried the Shulton Old Spice dupe - Endurance? I've got a couple vintage bottles of juice and ought to have a matching soap. After viewing their website I see two variations - Vegan or Shea butter Vegan. Any opinion on the two types? Take photos if they allow!
What’s the fun in that? Right Charlie? I will, however, admit that it is more liberating than I expected.
I read the first book not knowing I was getting into a loooong series. Listened to the rest as audio books up until near the end. Haven't been back since the second string crew took over. Did the series end? Yes, I know "ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legends fade to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again."
Bourbon! In fact I've actually told people from the UK and Canada that we are exactly like them. Only with better whisky (whiskey) and waaaaaaay more guns. Cheers.
The traditional distillers in the US sometimes omit the E as a nod to their largely Scottish ancestors.
Also why it's called Bourbon. The Bourbon industry centers around Elizabethtown, Kentucky, USA. We uppity colonists didn't want to name our whiskey after a British monarch. Lucky for us, Elizabethtown is in Bourbon County, Kentucky...conveniently named after the French monarchs, who aided us in the war. Americans, ornery from the start.
April 8 Good evening fellas! Today was interesting. I decided to use my 1961 Fatboy (G1) that CrustyCat donated to the recent raffle with a used Merkur blade. Decided to bowl lather Stirling Sandpiper. It is a nice scent, but I don't go gaga over it. I did a few passes and I have to say it was an ok shave. I went to work and figured when I come back from the gym after work, I will try it again. I get home and decided to replace the Merkur and with a Voskhod. I assumed the Merkur was spent. I place the new blade in the Fatboy and realize that it was on setting 1. I laughed because it was clear as to why I had a sub-par shave. I normally keep my setting at the max on every razor. It was the first time that I used this FB and assumed it was on 9. Ok, now that you guys are laughing at my expense, and it is all good. I shall proceed. I bowl lathered the Sandpiper with my Rocky brush and then applied it to my face. Did 3 passes, one weeper appeared above my Adam's apple, but it dissappeared with cold water. All is right in my world because this was a fantastic BBS shave! To Neal, I can see why you like Russian steel. The Voskhod is a smooth, but sharp blade. It is only my first time using this brand and I will see how it holds up in subsequent shaves. I used Stirling's Barbershop PS balm because I don't have the matching AS. The Barbershiop scent goes well with the Sandalwood. Have a great evening gents!
