I have Stirling Spice, B&M Reserve Spice and vintage Avon Spicy in addition to Endurance. Some in soap, some in splash or balm as well. Ironically, I don’t have a Shulton bottle to compare to. I really like Reserve, fwiw. Followed by some order of the other 3. All are better than the synthetic P&G scent, imho.
I am glad you gave the Glastonbury another chance and that the shave went well with you. I am surprised that you are not impressed with your Ralf Aust because I own 2 6/8 Spanish points and they are very fine razors. Also, the reviews on the Austs are quite favorable.
Others tend to echo your thoughts Jason. I may go B&M but there's no hurry. My one early shave journey purchase of New Old Spice is still in the vintage bottle and gets used very rarely. I've lost count, but though diligent shopping in the wild and some good luck I've got the vintage OS back stocked. My children may have to figure out what to do with it.
Clint, sorry about the slice, ouch! I use the J slide, instead. In spite of the injury, it sounds like the shave went well.
Robert, excellent review and shave! You are closing in on 100 shaves. What is the problem that vexes you?
Thank you Joe. It isn't the first time I have cut myself while not paying attention. Sadly, I am sure it will not be the last.
Clint, you responded to my post by responding to Terry's post because it doesn't make sense. Tax season has really taxed your mind! It's all good in the hood, my friend.
I think I'll break my Fatboy out in the morning with a Astra SP Blade. Glad you are enjoying the "boys". Take care.
