We're asked all the time if Moon will be offering an aftershave to match the various shave soaps in our line. We have decided to go with a post-shave balm instead of an alcohol-based splash. Melody has some pretty serious skills in the lotion department so this seems a good fit for us. Plus, shipping outside the US would be no problem. We've worked out a formula...a real good one, but are undecided on the addition of menthol. All of them? None of them? Some of them? Personally, I love it. Menthol in a lotion stays cool on the face for much longer than a splash. But I need to what you all think. So, Menthol or not?
I'll go with menthol every time. Here's a thought though: For a lot of people, balms are more of a winter thing. Menthol not so much.
I voted menthol, but as it would be a balm, I figure it can't be TOO cold. I find these days that I'd rather be out in freezing weather than humid. Don't get excited, @Yehuda D, I'm not saying I''d join you in using Meeter on New Year's Day(or Arcticque)!!
For the most part, I prefer menthol, however, there are some scents, that I'd rather not have menthol in the mix!
Y'know, there's a tradition here in Boston....people strip down and run into a section of the Boston Harbor waters...on New Years Day.
