  3. I believe that is the exact final maneuver that I need to do.

Lacking some of the dexterity of my younger days I'm envisioning a difficult move.

I'm gaining on it but going slow so it is not my 'final' final maneuver!

Using the alum on the fingertips and going n/s (XTG) gets close and good enough for now.

I have avoided getting alum anywhere that I still have left to shave. I always thought it would make the blade drag.

Thanks for sharing! Here we learn.

Those are some great looking shaves Paul!
Your tub of Atko must be feeling pretty good about itself being used in such great company, Keith!
    Have a relaxing morning Neal!
Way to work the W, Rick!
Beautiful shot Jim! When are we gonna see you break it the Bakelite Star?
Sounds like a great shave! I hope you get a big box of Stirling goodness!
    Fantastic shot Clint!
First go with the E plate sounds like a good one Danny! I've seen those Cremo products at my local Target and have been curious but my willpower this far has held.

    Stirling Arkadia AS (m bombed)

A shave and a post both in the same general time period. Yippee.
Changed out the Spoiler for an Astra and kept the OT train rolling. I didn't consider my Jeeves products 'neglected' per se, until I realized I hadn't used any since my Jeeves January focus 3 months ago. Rectified that this morning with the excellent Apothecary (spelled with an A on the top, but with an E on the side of the tub :signs002:). After using my other big Omega boar yesterday and then this one today, I realize the beehive still has a little breaking in to do to get to the awesome face feel of this one. Whipped up a fantastic lather and had 3 super smooth passes. Perfect? Maybe not, but not too far from it. This OT has rocked this week.
The Arkadia stands up well on its own, and is a quality product no doubt, but I probably prefer the smokiness of the Fine L'Orange Noir dupe by a hair. Can't go wrong with either Hermes copy though.
    Have a great day, all!
  10. Awesome shot Jason!

  11. Thanks Andrew. I have seen Cremo products before at the big box stores but always passed on them. I run across this set at a bargain store cheap so I took a chance and bought three of them. At $4.50 a set I did not think I could go wrong. The shave balm was worth what I paid for the set. Take care and give the boys a tickle!

I was sticking with adjustable razors this month. I'll sneak it in this weekend. I have another vintage on the way that I want to sneak in also. Hopefully we don't get another bomb cyclone to slow mail delivery.
