Dayum I just a had the best shave of the week! Threw the 7 oclock black in my slim adj. MEM SC and Osage rub to follow up. That MEM is some slick and moisturizing stuff! Anyone want a Arist Jr? That thing just doesnt work for me It feels great but not for me.

Morning, all. I feel good today. Had a nice shave when I got up. Tried out Musgo Real shave cream and liked it. Smells really nice.

Made myself breakfast about two hours ago. Two eggs scrambled with salsa and a glass of Carnation Instant Breakfast (awesome, awesome stuff).

 

$35...what i bought it from Rodd for. He actually has more accurate pics than I do of it. He will be around soon

Fuzzy you should get the aristo jr, at 35 it's a great deal. If you pass, I might bite.

Sorry. Got busy there for a spell. Rolls, I believe somebody gave me one Swede to try awhile back, but I can't remember how it shaved. I do hear good things about it. Wouldn't mind trying another just to be sure. Maybe I should buy a pack. Where to you get them? Those same eBay stores?

I was disappointed in both the Speick and Musgo shave creams. I'm starting to think though that my sample sizes were too small. I prob. needed more cream and who knows how they would have performed. It doesn't really matter I guess...I have enough soaps and creams to last me through the next Presidency (The Oprah Administration )

And what's wrong w/ paying a Swede Shawn?!?

 

It comes with some filters, I just figured I would need more eventually, might as well get them all at once.

I think the availability of the Swedes has been spotty recently. I have maybe 3 I have yet to use one.
I didn't care for Musgo a whole lot. just my opinion, seems Shawn and Dom like it.

I used to get mine from a guy who sold them by the 100. He is no logner around though. Dumbass got hit by a bus a few months back. Apparently, he was doing some new thing the local kids are into called "Car Surfing" He managed to fall off the car right when a bus was going by. They had to scrape what was left of him off the street with shovels.

 

Tried the Swedes a while back. They seemed extremely inconsistent and I can't remember enjoying them. I think I have two left. I'll pull them out again sometime soon.

I've been trying out different blades recently. Tried out the Sharps (which were AWFUL and tugged a lot), Treet Blues (which were only a slight bit better), 7 A.M. Platinums (which I used this morning and got a good shave from but just realized I have the faintest bit of irritation), and the German Wilkinson Sword blades (which were somewhere between the Treet Blues and the 7 A.M. blades). Haven't found anything yet that comes close to the Feathers. Tracy - I'll be testing out the Feathers you sent me pretty soon as well and will let you know my results. If I feel any difference, I'll be sending some for you to try along with a sample of Tabac A/S and whatever else you may want.

Agreed. It's usually good to have some in case of emergency.

Used Musgo for the first time this morning. Really liked the smell. I was a bit rushed and was using a new blade, so I'm not 100% sold on it yet. I will be trying it again with a Feather in my Slant to cement a final opinion on it.

good deal. I couldnt stand the 70's SS though. Way too light and cheap IMO. Couldnt get a descent shave either so they are gone. Something about a razor having some weight to it sure helps.

 

Have you ever tried those Schick blades, Rolls? I don't like them, but the case is really nice.

Dom, I do believe that is what they do. They get on top of the car like they are surfing, while the driver is careening down the road at full speed. I will admit to doing some stupid stuff in my day, but WTF are these kids thinking???

 

Those are some good deals rolls! I wish I needed razors. Got what I want and I cant resell razors worth a damn. Someone will buy them and sell them for some ungodly profit I bet.
