Got an email from Barrister and Mann and they are re-releasing a limited edition soap and aftershave. Diamond. The scent profile has me intrigued. From the website:

Options there.
1) Tabac is a hard soap so use a stiff brush - boar.
2) Do a 30 Day Focus using badger brushes and hard soaps to improve your technique.

If I use a cream any brush will do. With those that aren't soft it takes longer loading a badger brush. Blooming hard soaps makes for easier loading.

 

The old cartoons don't get airplay like they used to. In a #metoo environment Pepe's persistence crosses the line of harassment. Life was more simple when we could laugh at his antics and not get offended. Them was the good old days.

 

The only thing that I've shaved with that was more aggressive then the R41 and Dart was the Ikon tech. On the Ikon you can visibly see the blade sticking out past the guard. And it doesn't support the blade well at all. Lots of chatter.

Heh, you said "pulling". Gary is in a tough place being British & Canadian.
While the neighbors to the north are stereotyped as being apologetic, the folks across the pond are ever polite.

Rick, You are so true. A couple of things you can say about Pepe, he was persistent and had the confidence to match. Kinda the fore runner of this man.

 

Now that's crossing the line. A little friendly enabling is fine, but a new truck!

Good afternoon guys!
Just finished another straight razor shave! I have been changing my shave schedule to almost every day because I just love the Stirling soaps. This time, I brought out my 6/8 Spanish point Ralf Aust. I decided to use Stirling's Piacenza soap and lathered it with my Semogue OC badger brush. This was a great 3 pass shave without any mishaps. A beautiful BBS shave was accomplished. I took my time shaving because I was digging this scent. Overall, I was very pleased with today's shaving episode.
Result: Grade 98 = A+

 

Way to go Joe!

 

So you didn't like the iKon Tech then? I've read that it's the only DE that gets closer than an R41!
