I shot 287/300 at tonight’s club tournament. That’s 7 points above my previous best and I finally managed to outscore my husband.
Set the shower pan liner and concrete bed for my shower in the master bath in my house. Then installed handles on the cabinets in my kitchen. Tile starts tomorrow.
My hubby was in the mood to buy me a gift, “just because”. (I am a very lucky lady.) I picked out the SOG Q4 Baton Multi-tool. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N19FYIY/?tag=thshde-20
Tile yesterday, sand drywall today. Would have finished the tile yesterday but I ran out of thin set and on Sunday the only place to get it is 20 miles one way or 30 miles the other. The second is the view from my shower. Sent from my LGMS550 using Tapatalk
I don't feel very manly ..... Trying to be strong, while my adult son is hurting. Leaning on and trusting God as always.
I hope things look up for your son. As for you, it sounds like your being very “dadly”, which is also very manly.
I attended(there now)my grandson's weightlifting match. While I'm sure there are females matches, I'm currently looking at 150 high school aged young men. Makes me think the next generation is gonna have lots of muscle. I entered the thread thinking the most manly thing im doing today is supporting my kids in their endeavors.
"Buy a man a meal, and he's fed for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll be fed for life!" I heard this one the other day; Pick a man's pocket and he'll be "broke" for a day. Teach a man to play Jazz and he'll be "broke" for life!! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Listened to a sparrow today at work, and watched him for a few minutes. I love hearing birds sing, I could listen to them all day.
Finished replacing the water pump in my old BMW. Another really fiddly, pain in the rear job. I hate the way they design cars these days.
You cannot get in a hurry that is for sure. I just replace the a/c compressor and accumulator on my wife's Sport Trac. You just have to get in the right mindset and have patience.
I know. It's just crazy that it takes longer to get to what you need to replace than it does to replace it.
