Just won 3 new to me razors today, 2 gems and another Gillette. Pics look good and snatched them up for less than 21$. They look lile they need a good polish. Cannot wait to try them out. Where do you get your gem blades from?
Just Added A TON of great soaps to my BST listing. Several unobtainiums, WK, B&M, Stirling, CL and others. Even @jtspartan may be tempted.
Thanks Jason! Yes we did pay for them, but we had to be sneaky so we could put them in his Easter basket. Thanks Jim! We live in a time where we don't have to pay $300 for a quality badger brush (unless we want to). Thank you, Clint! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Had a milestone (sort of) shave today. It's been two months since I started DE shaving, and I committed to following most everyone's advice for newbies, which is stay with the same equipment for a month. Since I shave every other day, that's two months for me. Well, I certainly did NOT stay with all the same hardware and software, with one exception: the blade. I've used no other DE blade but the Israeli Personnas. That is, until today, when I put a Astra in my WCS 84B. I've been wanting to try either my German 37 slant or my brand new VB Emperor Augustus, but as I'd just finished using the 84B for 4-5 shaves, I thought I should stick with it when I tried the new blade. Result, I didn't notice a big difference, which is good because I'm very pleased with the Personnas. I did seem to get a lot of audio from the Astra; not sure if the blade was the variable or just my imagination. Anyway, the journey continues. BTW, I feel like the owl in the old Tootsie Pop commercials asking "How may shaves does it take to use up a puck of Williams? The world may never know." Carl
Welcome to the den. They just received a lovely ultrasonic cleaning and a little scrubbing with an old tooth brush. I3 - Slim N1 - Knack P4 - Flare Tip
