I would not say it is my favorite yet but is seems to be given a closer shave. The F plate has more blade exposure and I think once I get it dialed it in it will be my fave. Thanks.. I have always admired the Rubberset 400 but I just could not justify the price and went with the Razorock 400 which is a great brush. When this one popped up this morning had to jump on it plus my wife could not say no. She was knocked out and having a routine procedure done. Everything is fine. I was in the waiting room cruising E-bay. Clint thanks and I will check Dougs out. Since tax season is over I'll send this one over for you polish. I knew the knot was toast. I was going after the handle of course. We do have a Harbor Freight close by and I'll check the strap wrench out. I may have one in the tool box if not I'll pick one up. As far as the knot goes it seems like most folks go with the Omega 10049 boar and rob the knot from the brush. That may be what I'll do. What progression do you recommend on the sandpaper?
Thanks Gary....not rabbit holes....prairie dog holes! Thanks Joe, I'll get to work on it when I get a chance. I know what you mean on the bay thing. I showed the brush to my wife and she said you paid that much for that and then I showed her the past selling history and she said "oh...you did O.K.".
Excellent knot. Very dense. Unlike other synthetics, does seem to loosen just a smidge with usage. You have to really like dense knots, I would say. The only other synthetics I would say are in the ballpark are the SynBad series, especially the large (28 or 30mm) ones. The SynBads are quite a bit cheaper, but you don't get the hand tied quality, obviously.
I’ve polished up 9 of them. If you need some pointers just send me a private message. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Joe @Trigger, I have a buddy over in Mississippi that can get me a case of this fine canned food. If you like I can send you up a case. I know you don't like gizzards but you might like this.
Danny, you are killing me! Lol! Thanks, however, I am a steak and potatoes kind of guy. Have a good evening!
