Trappys makes good pepper sauce too. Love it on turnip or mustard greens.

    Razor: Gillette Super Speed L1
    Blade: Rapira Super Stainless (1)
    Brush: Grizzly Bay MaxFury
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: GD Sandalwood Fig Musk
    Lucky Tiger face tonic
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
    AS: Fine Santal Absolut

    Good morning!

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes with quick touch up. Near BBS with silent alum. The Flare Tip made for an easy shave.

Second use soap theme continues with Grooming Dept Sandalwood Fig Musk. Top tier performance with a great scent. Grizzly Bay 2 band did the work. Love this knot, good backbone with super soft gel tips. Fine Absolut Santal finished things off in grand style.

    Have a great weekend!

I do try to color coordinate my SOTD photos on most days. I didn't realize what a close match they were until I put them side by side.

    Razor: Colonial Razor The General
    Handle: Timeless Pineapple
    Blade: Feather Pro
Brush Handle: B-400 The Brush by Tom
    Knot: APShaveCo Tuxedo
    Soap: Truefitt and Hill Apsley
Post Care: Stirling Unscented Witch Hazel
    Alum
    Aftershave: Truefitt and Hill Apsley
    Fragrance: Stirling Arkadia

Early start to today but a great way to start the day. This was my first go with quite a few products so lots learned today. First, the Timeless handle is big, much longer than what I'm used to and it will take some adjusting however it has great balance when matched with my stainless General head. This was also my first go with anything from Truefitt and Hill and my first try of a cream but I was really impressed. I just dabbed my brush tips into the cream and within seconds a beautifully thick and creamy lather was whipped up. This stuff is slick, it has great cushion and fantastic post shave feel. It also doesn't hurt that I love the scent. A splash of witch hazel followed by the alum produced zero feedback. I followed this up with the Stirling Arkadia EDT which was the only product that gave me any disappointment. I don't know if I got a bad bottle or if the scent of this is always weak but it took 4 sprays before I could even notice anything. I also applied this yesterday with similar results and the longevity was also lacking. We'll see if that holds true today. To be fair, the scent is fantastic I just wish it lasted and I didn't have to pour it on. It was still a great shave and I'm ready to start my weekend. Have a great day folks!

Good morning and a wonderful Saturday.
Feeling better, just worthless as can be the last few days, as all I did lay around and heal.
Shaved as normal using my Conrad OC, Stirling Barbershop and some different blades other than Feathers, more on that in the next few days.
This morning was nice, a new razor and a new favorite. I got an Enders Dollar Razor for a good price. Now knowing that the blades are no longer produced, I would have to come up with something. I finally figured out after spending 15 minutes how to mod a Personna GEM blade so it was set like the old blade that came with it.
Using the normal gear and goo, I tried out this little razor. At first it seemed easy to use and feels like the lightest all meatal razor I have. It's kinda like holding a tooth brush in weight. The long handle looked odd, but it seems to help ballance the whole thing making for an easy controled movement from start to finish. Now in my short tenure of wet shaving I will have to admit that using many different types of razors, most feel and shave pretty much the same, depending on the blade. This razor has a different feel about it, light and smooth, the blade angle seemed easy to adjust and keep correct. Efficient and gental, two traits that I don't normally use together when describing a razor. The shave, wonderful, smooth and clean. Now I have to mod some more blades so I can get some love from this old relic, real shame they don't make blades for this wonderful little razor anymore.
