The brush came into today that I was hoping was solid brass and it is.I clean the bristles up with a couple of latherings with Williams the knot shaped up pretty decent. After the knot dried up I taped it off and bead blasted it to match the Karve. After a little patina settles in I think it will look great. The knot shed about 10 bristles so I'm hoping it will be o.k. If not I'll rip it out and replace it. It is 22mm. Y'all have a great weekend.

hello fello enablers err shavers, saturday afternoon shave..haven't used the wm neumann soap for a while so out it comes,playing ith the toys and stuff, second shave with the #77 new rfb ,gillette blade this time..loaded the canadian rubberset from the tub, and got a captains bowlful of awesome slick lather..rewarded with lovely dfs+ shave in 2 combination passes..fantastic razor..this razor is near mint ,the later ones like this are nickel plated where as earlier new rfb's are silver plated..outstanding shaver..imo.can't get the neumann a/s here but found an edt that pairs well ,almost identical scent to the 1907 soap.a touch of tweaked thayers and the davidoff adventure edt to finish..awesome shave.. have a great afternoon gents..
I just love the old British TV comedies. Classic humor...nothing like it on TV these days. Onslow was one of my favorite characters. When we were in England a couple of years ago, I discovered a couple of "new" shows...may have to spring for BritBox sometime...
