SOTD 4/13/19 Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket Razor: 1953 Gillette President Blade: Shark SS Soap: PAA Lo Haiku Aftershave: Hai Karate This was my first shave with the Gillette President and it was a very smooth shave. That could be because I used a Shark SS blade which is very mild to me. Tomorrow I’ll shave with the President razor loaded with a sharper blade. Either a Voskhod, Bolzano, Rapira Platinum Lux or Gillette Silver Blue. I want to work my way up the blades before I load a Feather blade in this beauty. Using the Shark SS I got a DFS but I think I can improve upon that upping the sharpness of my blade of choice.
Just got it in the mail and had some plating, oh I thought it was soap scum. Nevertheless it shaved nice.
