Next up for neglected razors- the humble post-war ball-end Tech. Breaking from my neglected soaps to try out this Castle Forbes cream. @Keithmax had asked me for a turning or two, and usually I’d just work out a trade. However, I really am trying to keep the den the size it is now, so I said to Keith that I didn’t need anything currently, but perhaps later. That isn’t the way our Keith rolls, and the next thing I know this new tub has arrived internationally from Maggards. Very generous indeed and it is really hard to reduce the den with friends like Keith.
This is the first use of a Castle Forbes product and what a beautiful Lime scent right off the puck. Strong and Natural straight up Lime to my nose. Very nice. I took it to the bowl for its first use, and added quite a bit of water incrementally. I can probably dial it back a bit next time, but I definitely got an ‘explosion’ of quality lather.
3 pleasant passes later I am quite smooth. A little room for improvement, but still a very good shave.
I finished with the Florida Water, which I have added Glycerin and Menthol to. Yowzers, it just may be my most mentholated product at the moment- an invigorating combo of burn and freeze. I have always enjoyed this scent.

It got the name from when I got a Schick Repeating razor. With the name Bunny Kelman engraved on it. People being weird as usual around here started calling me Bunny. So I figured what the heck, that is a good name as anything else.

What a day, got to the golf course around 9 am and tee off at 10 AM. It was very windy cool, but not cold. My shave was pretty good. The Gillette Slim Adjustable is a very mild razor even at setting #9. I did about 4 passes and a couple of clean ups. I am pretty tired out, however, the Leafs play the Boston. Should be a great game. Have a great weekend one and all.
