I am not much of a coffee drinker but when I do drink coffee it is Cafe Bustelo. Biscuits are in oven and the bacon is starting to fry.

 

For those unaware, due to predicted storms this afternoon in Augusta, the Masters is on about 6 hours early today. You’re welcome.

Same here, just replace the tea with coffee. Wife just got up but the kids are still upstairs.
The only thing I can do to make it better is get rid of this rooster that some one let go in my neighborhood.

Two days away from SR shaving. Back in the saddle. Sunday means the Dovo 91. (Not that I have a bevy of SR's to choose from)
Nevertheless a good choice.
I had a hankering for some Veg, so what better soap to grab, then the Mystic Water Lilac.
This is great soap. Yes, it's gooey at first (hint: if it's not, you have too much water too soon and that spells disaster with MW),
but it evolves into one of the BEST lathers on today's market. All the qualities we wet shavers want:
Slickness; Cushion; Protection AND...ta da: POST SHAVE!!!!!
Ranks #1 in my den.
There are, of course, other soaps that leave the face hydrated and soft, but for this $$...not many.
I also love the fact that coconut oil does not exist in Michelle's soaps.
I do a mini-bloom with this soap. Less than a teaspoon of H2O on the puck whilst showering.
So little, that the water has mostly absorbed into the soap by the time I am ready to load.
A dozen swirls with the M&F and I have a gooey, sticky, gloopy substance, which I can wipe out
with a finger and what I can't get onto the knot, gets smeared on my face.
Face lathering takes a few minutes, but when patient and correctly hydrated the reward is large.
I left the first lather on my face while I stropped the Dovo. Chose the Slavin, because I really like the
"fire hose" strop to get the edge warmed up...as opposed to my SRD felt. Don't really care for that.
Anyhoo, re-lathered and except for the tip of my chin...once again, that darn chin, I successfully
ridded my face of the previous 24 hours' growth.
I find that the Alum deodorant sticks are much more convenient to use than the blocks.
Thayer's Medicated Witch Hazel followed and after that dried...drum roll, please....
