    I picked up a pair of NOS 1966 Colorado plates and was able to register them on the Chevelle.

    Nice shave, Stephen!
    My neck was tough to get smooth without irritation as well. Skin stretching with my off hand did the trick for me.

    I did the same thing on my 73 vette but the plate was not NOS. We only need the rear plate in Alabama. I had found the plate years ago and what is neat about is that it is a "63" plate which is the number for the county we live in.

    The old plates had the year stamped into them. Everyone got a new set every year instead of the decals. The fella I got my plates from used to go to Arapahoe county and get the leftovers from the previous year. He had boxes of them.
