I had my first shave with the open-ended micromatic yesterday.. I don't see why it has a meatgrinder/cheesegrater reputation. No nicks, no weepers, no scrapes, no irritation...

Well... birthday party is over and things will start returning to normalcy soon enough. Really.... Hot water is still out in the building, so I may just have to heat water on the stove to shave. Thankfully I got at least a DFS shave with the open ended micromatic yesterday, and I am still passable today. I will probably shave tonight though so I don't have to mess with heating water on the stove tomorrow morning.

Bong: I will post pics of the replated heads in a bit.

Edit: Here are the re-plated heads. They are too shiny to get a good pic with the camera I have with me. Marks on the heads are just marks from being touched. They are much better than they look.

 

Arghhh.... I wondered who got that. Stinking birthday party while I was trying to sneak off and bid...

I have learned that my slim adj. is the only razor I need. The other 5 just sit there.

I would try a slant. But I am not sure I would try a slant Ray. Is that like a manta Ray? or a stun Ray?

I dont find the Red IP's work that well in a slant so Ray probably wont try it. I really got the best results with feathers when i did have my slant. I might get another one soon. Maybe the next one that pops up on the b.s.t. Tracy, let us know when the mergress gets in....kind of curious.

Anybody else having problems with auctiva being blocked for your own protection?

 

If Ray will try one I would send it with some feathers.
