Brother I have one GEM given to me from a find at an old guy's house. It is plastic handled and I have shaved with it and will again but it is not nearly as good as the DEs.

 

I didn't buy it for him, but rather got some samples to try myself (to see if it would be something that would work well). It was utter garbage. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Hi Dom,
if you are looking at brushes, take a look at the Shavemac D01 group buy that is going on.

I have " a few shavemacs" and they are great brushes. I think Tracy's shredder is an anomaly. I haven't lost more than 10 hairs in all my SM's combined.
The DO1 hairs are supposed to be stiffer for more backbone(good for soaps) but also really soft at the tips for a "velvet like feel"(I added that part)

As I said in the other thread, no need to have an argument about values and such when it comes to sales. Venting = ok, calling someone "damn" so and so is not. I have edited the comment above.

 

Is it just me, or are the Oscars completely meh this year? I'm only barely curious about who's going to win. Not going to record, and may not even bother watching at all.

And I just found out one reason why local razor pickings are so slim. I've got competition hanging out across the street.
