    Thank you, Charlie! :thanks:
It's a fun razor to use, and once I got the hang of it, the shaves got great.
All is well in my little corner of the world. I see that you're actively packing and getting ready for the big move. Very exciting times for you and your bride. By now, I'd bet you both are getting the itch to get moved and settled. Belated congrats on getting your current house sold as well!

Awesome photo and setup, Clint! Love that brush! My Supply is coming out of "hibernation" this morning.
Good luck with the commute and workday.

Thanks Bruce. I appreciate the kind words. We're ready...in our minds anyway...still have a few more boxes to pack.

Have a great day, my friend. It's good to see you posting!

I thought the idea was not to have rejects! :happy102: I was giving the flutes some thought. You could take your blank and find the center. Mark the six flute centers out at 60 degrees and bore down into the blank with a drill press. You would end with a blank that would resemble a square revolver cylinder. Turn it on the lathe till the flutes appear. The only problem I see would be that the flutes would chip out easy. Just a thought and I am sure someone has gave this more thought than me.

    Thanks Jason!
Could work but you would have to make a jig to keep the spacing on the flutes correct.

    Thanks.

Great way to do it but above my machining capability. The trick is some kind of fixture/jig to keep the handle "indexed" as you cut the flute. You need to lock the handle and be able to rotate it 60 degrees cut a flute and then rotate and lock again. You could us the lathe with an index wheel and mount a router on a slide to cut the flutes and the handle is indexed and locked in place. Just some thoughts.

Great shave, pic and review, Ben. As far as the Stirling, maybe you need to shake it up a bit.
