A backwater BBQ joint is OK by me. Great BBQ trumps...well...uh...everything. We plan to attend a Blues and BBQ festival in Western Kentucky this summer. It will be fun to compare their style of "wet" BBQ to STL BBQ. Science. I love it.
April 17, 2019 Supply Co V2 – 2 Dot Plate Schick Proline SOC Taj Mistura Soapy Science Lollipop Citrus Myrsol Agua de Limon The week seems to be going by very quickly. The SOC Mistura tore through the SS Lollipop Citrus whipping up a wonderful slick lather. As much as I have enjoyed this soap, it did not make my "buy again" list. Three passes and touch ups ended is a near perfect shave. As usual my lower right neck proved to be my nemesis. A splash of Myrsol Limon and I am off to fight traffic. April Focus Art of Shaving Lemon (Tallow)~~Rubberset 400/3~~Friodur SR #64 A vintage shave was in order today. What better vintage gear than the original AoS Tallow Lemon and its vintage compatriots. Naturally, the vintage Rubberset was a requisite tool to apply the aforementioned product. With a vintage Slavin strop, I prepped the not-so-vintage Friodur razor. Shiny & Slick was the order 'o the day and this soap filled the order spectacularly. Short, deliberate strokes (maybe a tad too deliberate, as I was left with a couple of weepers and an Alum sting) cleaned up the face very well. Post shave products are very lightly scented, but leave the skin refreshed and nourished. Not much else to add, except that I wish everyone a terrific day.

SOTD 4-17-19 No picture today. My routine has been totally thrown off with last week's trip and us trying to pack up our house. Busy time! SOTD photos have taken a back seat to other action this week. RazoRock Blue Barbershop soap and splash Schick I1 injector Schick blade Stirling Kong synthetic brush Nice shave. These What the Puck RazoRock soaps are great values. Nice quality, very slick, and good post-shave feel along with being well under $10. Fun time last night visiting two breweries and eating some great Puerto Rican and Mexican food. Played a little live trivia. Fun birthday overall.
