Check with Family Dollar & Dollar General type stores, or maybe Hobby Lobby for small empty containers. I found these at Dollar Tree and got samples from the Soap Pass-around from a couple years ago.

I would be interested in the soaps you named. Water here is high in dissolved inert silicates, but low in minerals and iron.

If it's still there on my turn, remind me. I'll sample and send the tub on to you.

I would like to try them. I would take a sample and leave the tub.

Back to work Monday after a busy week last week and a busy weekend.
This week is busy too but I wanted to give a quick update.

I've done an inventory of the box and made a few tentative selections plus I've tried a couple of things.
I'm organizing my additions and hope to get it in the mail mid to late week.

Any recollection of the name of that aftershave you sent me? I'm using it tomorrow.

No. I sent out too many prizes to remember each one.

Well, here's where I'm at for the moment.

Things I'm taking out:



There were lots of brushes so three boar brushes; VDH, Omega, and a very nice homemade
Two pucks of new Williams - not because I want it but to make room for vintage Williams
Vintage Wilkinson and Lucky Boy blades, new Treet and Gillette Super Thin blades
Arko cream and vintage Williams cream
First Canadian shave soap - very nice stuff
Avon pipe with Wild Country - not because I want it but to make room in the box
If one of you really wants the Avon, PM me your address and I'll send it to you separately.

I wanted to take out the Weishi bronze colored TTO DE and the Bulldog clone DE but I couldn't make them work. Both are very aesthetically pleasing and both felt good in my hand but my face didn't like the Bulldog and the Weishi won't stay screwed shut. Every couple of strokes I had to retighten the handle. Maybe someone knows how to fix that.
