    Excellent shave. The soap performs really well. The razor shaved smooth and I only wish I had another plate to check out the other settings.

    Moving right along with the Qshave and Sharp Star. Shave number two and I just switched the JR 312 out for the JR 230. Another two pass shave with some touch up that yielded a very high level DFS with little effort. No issues, problems, or anything else to report. So smooth and effortless it's nearly boring! Nothing wrong with that.

    Still considering what to put in that handmade soap bowl. Got one vote in today. I'm taking any and all suggestions! Hope you have a fantastic Friday and a great start to the weekend!

    Shave of the night.
    Simpson (scruffy) special, DR Harris Arlington shave cream, Edwin Jagger laser etched handle, loaded with a Precision super blade, and finished with Arlington cologne/splash.
    Love that smell!

    Tabac Thursday SOTN

    After reading some reviews and speaking with Vikings Blade directly, I elected to give their Emperor Adjustable Razor a shot. It truly appears to be a well finished, hefty, and smooth shaver for the cost. It had its maiden voyage tonight (5.5, 5.5, 6) on a new blade and resulted in a smooth and error free shave - no irritation at all. I even picked up one of their brushes - talk about heft! The handle of the Fire Mare brush is quite wonderful. Tabac of course didn't disappoint! Happy Friday everyone.

    Brush:- Omega 83 Boar 27/60mm knot
    Soap/Cream:- Wholly Kaw ~ King of Bourbon
    Razor/Blade:- Gillette Rocket HD500 made in England 1950's / Vintage NOS Schick Plus Platinum #11
    Post-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)
    Fragrance:- Proraso Wood & Spice

    SOTD:
    A great shave today with the Fatip and uncle Jon's pipe smoke, an absolutely fantastic soap! It lathers so readily after 20 seconds of loading that afterwards i added the left over lather back to the container. 20th shave with the feather, definitely an absolutely fantastic blade. Definitely my favourite blade so far, but i dont think I'll be buying more unless i can find a really good deal online, then its definitely worth it!

    Razor: Fatip piccolo
    Blade: feather hi-stainless (20)
    Soap: Uncle Jon's pipe smoke
    Brush: dischem synthetic
    Aftershave: old spice whitewater.

    Blade: Astra SP
    Post: Warm then cold water rinse, OSP Fougere ASL

    Day two with the Zeppelin and with about 15 hours growth it was okay but I stuck solely with the 0.7 side.
