The Old Schicks are really nice shaves. My fave is the E, but only on the basis of familiarity, G and J have been good to me too.

Now the username makes sense. I was born in Texas, and at age three, my family moved to Alabama.

That would make me incorrigible.

Yes. Texas was its own Republic for a time after they won their war with the Spanish Colony of Mexico. It has its own culture and is the largest of the 48 contiguous states. It features a long coastline and almost every type of terrain. Texas is known for its food stylings, oil, and cultural attitude. It is home to two of the ten largest cities in the US, Dallas and Houston.

Alabama is the heart of the "Old South", and is mostly agri-rural, with forested rolling hills in the north and vast plains of superior farmland to the south. It's known for being home to major NASA and military facilities, golf courses, college football and "old southern charm." Like Texas, it also has a coast facing the Gulf of Mexico. It has only one true big city, Birmingham. Like its UK namesake, was once a large producer of iron and steel.

I used to build plastic model cars years ago but sadly had to hand paint.

I love Arko, but never gave the Barbasol a shot yet.

 

SOTD:
A great shave today with the Fatip and uncle Jon's pipe smoke, an absolutely fantastic soap! It lathers so readily after 20 seconds of loading that afterwards i added the left over lather back to the container. 20th shave with the feather, definitely an absolutely fantastic blade. Definitely my favourite blade so far, but i dont think I'll be buying more unless i can find a really good deal online, then its definitely worth it!

Blade: feather hi-stainless (20)
Soap: Uncle Jon's pipe smoke
Brush: dischem synthetic
Aftershave: old spice whitewater.

Thank you fuzzy, the MMOC is fun to shave with. I can really feel the blade. The gem blade was crazy sharp, I could hear the hair, but no tugging or pulling. It was a great shave.

 

It is! My wife loves it, as well.

 

SE rules you know. Wait until you get a lather catcher shave in!
