    Great shave this morning. First time trying a Derby stick. I'm pleasantly surprised. I was assuming it would be identical to arko. I actually think the derby lathers much better than arko. And seemed to keep my face more slippery. Its definitely in my rotation and may be fighting cella for the top spot. Going to try Williams next. Love the scent of arko, derby, Williams. All seem pretty similar fragrances. I'm going to order some more Russian blades to try. Only have Astra green. Shave nation has a Russian sample pack that caught my eye. Looking forward to trying derby and arko bowl lathering soon. Happy Friday gentlemen [​IMG]

    Heretic I must be then.

    One day I gave it a squirt (squirt, not drops) of m-bomb and sloshed it well. It is surprising how much water it takes.

    The skin was wet AND cold.

    Not for everyone, made me happy!

    From what I hear Williams is the world's best soap.

    I'm afraid to try it, else I might have to turn in my Stirling Fanboy Club Card. Ignorance is bliss.

    I got Derby samples from Shave Nation. I like it.

    my son did that with 2 keys on an aluminum ring..looked like lightning went off in my room.. he didn't do it again..

    very nice sir, i like the derby as well, my derby stick is stronger than the arko, hasn't dissipated so far yet sits open..

    I have read that some folks do not like that raised edge on the SS. That is probably more like the DX model.

    If you move to Feather AC blades, I saw a chart somewhere showing a difference in blade exposure.
