Quick question, what blades do you folks use in your injector razors? All I seem to find is the China Schick and the supply blades. I read about Schick proline b blades but can only find p blades. Googling keeps sending me to the China Schick, Or proline p's, or the supply blades. I looked on the 'bay, but the vintage blades are like 2$each and thats crazy. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I look down also. I remember that move when the barber would shave my neck with a traditional straight. Even when looking down, I still need to be extra careful with the neck/skull base area. Really, I need to be extra careful in every area of my head. Lol!

Schick blades, sometimes called Chinese Schick or Chick:

Personna blades. Come in cartridges of 20:

If you want Personna blades then I recommend Andrew's Shave Shop run by our own @Linuxguile.

    Schick Proline blades:

You want the B-20 with Proline blades. The 20 just says there are 20 blades in the cartridge. The P-30 blades are artist club blades and not injector blades.

Andrew's Shave Shop has the Proline blades as well.

I tried the razor out this morning and it was a little rough. I like the style of the razor with the straight handle but the blades are not what they need to be. I manned on through two passes and finished up a few areas with the Karve. I need to order some Feather blades and I think it will be a great little razor. The only other problem I had was the rear retaining pin was loose and had slid forward causing the rear part of the blade to become loose. I put the pin back in place and finished shaving. A 20190420_081915.jpg little Loctite will fix that. Y'all take care and have a blessed Easter.

    Parker SRX
    Feather (1 & 2)
B-400 by Tom handle w/Envy White Supreme Two-band knot
    C.O. Bigelow
Alum, Thayers WH, USB, and Pinaud Clubman
    61st and 62nd focus shaves

I enjoyed a three-pass shave with the Parker SRX this morning. It was a pass more than my face needed, but I wanted to go out with a bang on my shavette focus. I completed a total of 62 shaves, allowing for some quick detours. My skill level and confidence with open blade shaving has increased, but I still have room to improve. I congratulate those who have completed 100 or more successive open blade shaves, and I'm confident that they're further along in their learning process. My favorite things about this wonderful hobby are the fun and fellowship with others, the opportunities for new challenges, and the opportunities to learn new skills.

I had almost finished my tube of C.O. Bigelow, so I emptied my last two tubes into the empty container I'd been using. I prefer using creams from a container than from a tube. Once I use up this cream, I will have finished a total of three tubes of C.O. Bigelow. I am seriously reducing my shaving cream and soap inventory, aiming toward having (plenty of) a few favorites in the Den.

I'll continue to finish my shaves with the Clubman until it's used up. I'm getting there, but I don't use as much aftershave as some do. I've never finished a bottle of AS, and it takes a while for me to finish a bottle of cologne. I may eventually mortgage the house and pick up a bottle of Creed Aventus. That would give me TDH, Aventus, and Aramis in the cologne rotation. I'd be happy with three or so aftershaves as well - one or two of the Fine offerings, a Bay Rum, and a Tobacco flower scent - but I'm a ways from getting there. I don't consider myself a minimalist, but I just tend to keep coming back to what I like.

I hope everyone has a a wonderful weekend and a blessed Easter. HE IS RISEN!
