    I'll put you in a quandary.

    If you haven't followed the news from Stirling Glastonbury is limited production for the supply of scent oils. It may be a couple of years before the next batch is produced. So if you are considering a purchase don't hesitate.

    If you do miss out, I've heard from a couple of shavers that recently got theirs and aren't thrilled. There may be a secondary market, but with sold out products sometimes the price goes up because of short supply economics.

    It's a mutton tallow base, and the shea butter and lanolin are nice, too. If you do miss out they also have Port-au-Prince, Scots Pine, Electric Sheep, and unscented Sheep.

    I got an email from Rod after asking about any of his scents that are close to arko/derby. He recommended trying the electric sheep. I just got 6 bars of bath soap. Love all the different scents. His soaps are excellent. I'll have to order soon then.

    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick G4 '66' injector
    Brush: Surrey badger
    Soap: Stirling Deep Blue Sea
    Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Deep Blue Sea aftershave

    Morning shave and evening post. Alice spent the night in the hospital and will stay there again tonight. She had a tear in her GI tract that required surgery. The tear caused a pretty major infection. White blood count was high and they're keeping her for observation. Frustrating for all of us. But she's very stable with no major problems and does not want me to spend the night at the hospital. I received this set of Stirling Deep Blue Sea after a smooth transaction from another TSD member. Wonderful scent! Really enjoyed the shave overall.

    Happy Easter, everyone. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers for us.

    Happy Resurrection Sunday to you as well. Our Lord ain't in no grave or tomb! The shave went a little better than expected. I just need better blades but I enjoy straight hande. Take care!

    I am sorry to hear about Alice. At least they were able to diagnose the cause and take corrective action. I am praying for a quick and complete recovery.
