Love the shaving soap on a dish. I’ve done it often.

Well, retired the Feather Professional Super at five as a matter or practice not need, it could have gone more, while I did get some nicks along the way with it, definitely not a burner, seems the Vector's streak continues in taming A/C blades that didn't work for me with the ATT SE1/2, onto the next one, two to go.

Smooth and easy. Fantastic little razor this Contour as it takes down a day or two worths of stubble without a hitch. Gets a bit of a bad rap for not being an efficient enough razor and is just not as popular as those that came before it. Still, no slouch and a real pleasure to use. Have a great evening and wonderful shaves all.....

Wonderful shave today, from an old English made razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. Great Razor, that takes an excellent edge.

Razor- "Bow Razor", by Wade & Butcher. Sheffield England. 1/2 Hollow Ground.
Brush- RazoRock 400. WD High Mountain Badger
    Soap- ARKO stick
    Aftershave- Arctic Blue.

    Arko Adjustable April

    April 23

Razor - Schick Injector (M) (Wide open)
    Blade - [IMG]
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - Jayaruh #54
    Post - Alum

Third shave with the Schick "M" and it was smooth as silk and the best of the three. I tend to get better with each shave when I go back to the Schick Injectors. Takes a bit to settle back in. And, then of course, I tend to wander off again, which I will do again this time. That completes the tour of my adjustables for the month with a week to go so I'll either double back on one or two of them or find something else interesting to finish April. Whatever the razor, it will be Arko. I haven't skipped a day yet, so I'm not going to let the last week do me in.

A week left until MAYhem!!! One of our most "celebrated" months in years past though I fear we may have fun past the limit of sanity and intelligence. Still, it's the month when we throw caution to the wind and try crazy and innovative things. We've seen some real classics. Blades taped to fingers, razors made out of all kinds of things that were never meant to be razors........all to demonstrate that technique trumps tools. I must give the normal disclaimer - for those who are going to perform the wild and wooly MAYhem type shaves - neither the 30 DC nor The Shave Den recommends using any sharp objects in a way other than they were designed. We do not encourage anyone to do anything that would be inherently dangerous or foolhardy. Now that I've said it - it's up to you. My MAYhem this year will probably be tamer than in the past and centered more on the "mix and match" dynamic than anything over the top. I should have that cheap Chinese pain stick and blades in by then, though, so I'm sure those blades will get a go.

Thanks in advance for another great and busy month around here! We're over 6000 with a week to go and you guys never shut up. But, then, what would be the fun in that, eh? Have a great Wednesday!
