Hows things around here. I got things fixed at moms.. So that is done,.. got the meat loaf cooked,, green beans cooked. and the roomie made potato salad. woohoo,,

I also got me an old lighter going. and stayed out of fights today... go me,

That sucks about Gio. I guess he got overwhelmed. I thought that was his full time job since he always travels the world looking for shaving products. Too bad he couldnt have an assistant to fill in....ME! Oh well...hope he is back soon.

 

Have any of you guys ordered from Razor and Brush? Just wondering because I haven't had any good luck with trying to order from him.

Haint has been jailed after this evening's Panty Raid on the laundry basket. My unmentionables are now behind the washer.

Rumor has it he's closed for awhile.

I haven't shaved the sample you sent me yet. Will give it a try as soon as I can. I'm test driving some new razors right now and don't want to throw a new soap/cream into the mix yet.


And speaking of those razors, they are a bunch of open combs Rodd sent me. I shaved w/ a Gillette tonight using a Feather on it's 3rd day (not typically a good shave day w/ the Feather). Wow. Now I know what folks mean by "aggressive". You can definitely feel the blade closer to the skin on this thing. I got a really close shave tonight. I'm surprised. I was extra careful because the blade was on its last legs so took my time. In spite of it being a mediocre blade the shave was good. I still like the Slant, but I may have to include one of these in my repertoire. Thanks Rodd, more crap to buy!!!!

He is travels for his day job quite a bit, so contact isn't great sometimes.
I have always had good luck getting in contact with him via email

4 dollars a stick shipped to your door,probably less, but that's a conservative guesstimate.

 

I love my open comb. A close and yet comfortable shave. Not the razor to use if you are in a hurry though.

 

you've my attention...Palmolive is, of course, the shave stick of Spoliators!!!!
