The safety on my little KitchenAid food processor broke and wouldn't let me use it properly. I dissembled and bypassed it ...... now it runs great! BTW I only use this one to make my laundry detergent every 14 months and I store it on top of my kitchen cupboards.
Congratulations! Way to go! What kind of bow do you use? I know very little about bows, other than compound and long bows.
Been living in the South for better part of a year now and just before sunup this morning I noticed a small tree in front of my workplace, one with large white flowers starting to open. Went up and inhaled deeply, not expecting anything. Oh, what an intoxicatingly nice citrus-floral fragrance. Turns out I just met my first magnolia. What a wonderful tree.
We have Magnolias here in CT as well. I don't know if there are different sub species, but they are a beautiful tree when in bloom.
Make sure not to trim its branches. They do better if left alone. The traditional Magnolia, that is. It has a hard waxy leaf. Now, the "Flowering Magnolia" has a soft leaf, and can be trimmed . I have a Flowering Magnolia, that is 25 yrs old, and when it blooms, for about 4 weeks, in the spring, it will leave a great scent for our entire street to enjoy.
Good God, yes. I park under it, and the Jeep is blanketed in petals by morning. My daughter loves it, because she sees the trail of flower petals I left in the neighborhood, as I went to work. She sees them for about 1/2 a mile, on her way to school. Kind of funny.
1. Had the wife take off work today, and I did the same. 2. Made my daughters breakfast, and packed her a school lunch, then took her to school. 3. Took the wife to a French Bistro she likes, for breakfast. 4. Took the wife out and bought her a new car. 5. Went to work out at the gym with her. 6. Took her to her favorite Crepe/Panini restaurant for lunch. 7. Let her and the neighbor wife go pick up their two girls from school, and have dinner, while I relax and drink coffee. I'm tired. Btw, there is a 3 1/2, but I cant talk about that. It was all about the wife today.
The wife and I were coming home from the Walmart this afternoon. We were coming up on the turn off to our neighborhood. That road teed into the road we were driving on, and there is a flashing light at the intersection. I had cars behind me, and there was a line of cars coming from the other direction. I began to slow down to make the turn when a mamma groundhog followed by a baby ground hog began to slowly make their way across the main road of the intersection in front of me. I came to a stop and waved at the oncoming traffic. They stopped too, and the mamma groundhog and her baby made it safely across the road. My wife was proud to have me as her husband. What a nice reward!
I put the new deck box together. The instructions were entirely pictorial so I can say I did it without reading them. Plus, I found a reason to use duct tape.
Helped fiancé install a ceiling fan. Also cut up some firewood and helped clear a couple of trees she had to take down. Mowed the weeds here at the house. Laundry for work week in right now...
