    Friday evening April 26 - Rule shave #30 - Whee!

    Delta Echo refurbished Gillette Fatboy on 4 / Rapira Swedish Supersteel (2)
    Simpsons CH2 Chubby Synthetic Bristles brush
    MWF/Kent in beechwood tub
    Alum and Polar Ice Booster splash

    My last shave was Tuesday morning, so I had 3 1/2 days stubble to slice through. Two quick passes did it very nicely, bringing me back to cleanshaven with no drama.

    I finished out my Rule today, and did a full Fat Friday to boot with The Fat, a Chubby brush, and the Fatboy razor. I will use the Fatboy for two more shaves because I have one lonely Rapira Swedish Supersteel blade left to use up, but I will change to Arko to get a little Arko April in and will probably switch to my APShaveCo Flat Top for a bit of a change in brushes too.

    Thanks for the kind words, Danny! I didn't shave today, but tomorrow it will be either my Dovo shavette or my Henckels Friodur. I am leaning toward the Friodur.

    Had a great shave today with Trumper's violet. I bought this for the bowl (cheap,) expecting the worst from the soap because of the experience I had with the rose. It surprised me and turned out to be a pretty good soap. Somewhere I have a puck of almond that I still haven't tried, too.
