Final shave for this Sharp Star. It's still smooth but I'm a 3 and out kinda guy. Insures I never have a bad shave just because the blade went south. For the razor - one more look at the Soviet Consul. At 9 this would be about a 14 or 15 on a Gillette, if it had it. Still very smooth and very effective with two passes and touch ups bringing the baby home. The JR230 is small but quite effective. I have plans now to make it my travel brush. I have a bottle it will fit nicely into for that, and I'll always have a classy brush with me that way.

Tomorrow is Saturday so no shave! When I shave again on Sunday I'll move on to one of the last three DE adjustables. Almost to May! Which means MAYhem and something other then Arko!! I love me some Arko, but the rest of my cabinet is starting to call my name. Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Well, it is adjustable April... I haven't used my Pal Adjustable in a while. Only one small weeper under the chin resulting in a minor feedback with the alum. Otherwise smooth as silk. Still rocking the Arko . Have a good night everyone.

I decided to try a 2 pass (WTG/ATG) shave today.....and as I don't normally use a Super Pro with this razor....I was just a little more cautious.
The result was perfect and that is me set up for the Day

A fantastic shave once again from my wonderful Wilkinson razor and the three day old Minora blade. The Rockwell soap is so nice - the scent is so lovely in an old school barbershop way, it lathers great, and it gives good postshave care. The matching balm has the same scent and it’s very moisturizing as well as soothing. I splashed on a little Brut aftershave to finish off. Smooth as silk in two easy passes!

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Amalfi Basil Lemon Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #343 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Dbl Duck 5/8 razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Dove Men+Care Post Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
