And now....fresh off my shave plan for tomorrow, here's the shower plan:

    Bodywash-Dial 4 Men(Recharged)
    Deodorant Soap-Coast(The "Eye Opener")
    Shampoo-Dove Men + Care**
    Deodorant(post-shave)-Speed-Stick GEAR (byyyyy MEN-nen).

    **
Weird product name, but Dove 4 Men in general is pretty good.

I’ll be quite honest. I was not expecting to much from the Rockwell Model T with all the complaints and horror stories of the razor malfunctioning and lacking in quality control that I had read across the net plus a couple of the more reputable reviewers did not give the razor any glowing reviews. But, my experience could not have been anymore different that what has been written and said so far. The razor has been an excellent shaver from day one. I’ve put in about 10 shaves with it and not a single issue with the Model T. Fit and finish is excellent with nearly perfect blade alignment in the blade tray and even blade exposure on both sides. The tto mechanism works as designed with very nice blade gap increments and the dial adjuster is robust and stays put once you set your gap. The shaves are smooth and comfortable with good blade feel once you get past setting 2. I would dare say that for me, the Model T has been both smoother and more of an efficient shaver than both the Rockwell 6s & 6c. I’ve shaved with the other two and they shave very well but, are a bit milder than the Model T throughout it’s dial sizes in my estimation.

Yes, to answer your question. I have been loving the shaves with this razor so far. Maybe I got lucky and actually received a good model that went through proper assembly and the whole Q/C process. It shaves brilliantly and for that I’m most grateful. :happy088:

    Arko Adjustable April

    April 28

    Razor - 1959 (E4) Gillette Fatboy (9)
    Blade - [IMG] (1)
    Soap - Arko
Brush - Stirling Pro Style Synthetic
    Post - Alum

Back to shaving since it's Sunday. For the record - the Battle of Winterfell is done. I won't comment on any of the outcome in case someone is avoiding spoilers, but if you read my earlier predictions let me just say I wasn't as right as I thought I'd be but I NAILED one detail. Anyway, moving on.

Back to the Fatboy for one last April appearance with a fresh Sharp Star on board. Arko for April and the Stirling Pro Style brush for a fantastic lather. Two things that ding Arko in my book....it's a bit drying and......it leaves a residue on gear. I'll have to do some extra cleaning on these razors for sure. As far as the shave went, three passes, the baby is on board, and life is good. Enjoy your Monday! Two more days until MAYhem!!!

I know it's still Arko April, but I couldn't help myself. I received a trade from @cliffb599 and I had to use it. We swapped and he sent me a crock of Mitchell's Wool Fat. Let me say, WOW! I left a small amount of hot water in the crock for a couple minutes before loading my brush and it took no time to have beautiful, bountiful, lather. I love the neutral scent as well.

Now onto the razor. Often it is difficult to obtain Rocnel Razors - I have been attempting to obtain one of their SE razors for quite some time. Well, finally able to! It is a beauty for sure. I need some practice with it however as it did not feel as efficient as I'm used to most likely secondary to my inexperienced technique with it. Plus, I plan on taking the dog ears off on future shaves because I nicked myself while making a pass under my lower lip! (They are already broken off in the picture). I'll try a fresh new blade on the next shave. Enjoy the coming week everyone.

    SOTD:
Had a really quick shave on Sunday night for church, and what a shave it was! As usual the Arko performed amazingly, especially given how little time i had. What an amazing soap for when you need to shave quickly and still have amazing results.

The aristocrat also performed perfectly, such an easy razor to use, and super mild too, at least compared to the lion and fatip piccolo.

Its been a while since ive used the old spice whitewater, and its a really great sent, im thinking of adding menthol to mine, i just need to find a place that stocks menthol first.

Beautiful shave from the feather, definitely my favourite blade now.

Razor: gillette aristocrat barber-pole handle (1948)
    Blade: feather hi-stainless (27)
    Soap: Arko shave stick
    Brush: dischem synthetic

I had a last minute change of razor. I have one which is going visiting and I wish to use before it goes on its travels I decided to go with the green option today.
2 passes and a touch up for a perfect finish. (my eyes are still streaming!)
