    A fine rosy Sunday morning today. 13/16+ CVH MK 33, unscented XPEC that’s been hand-scented with Domenico Caraceni 1913 EdT and lathered with a pretty Keyhole 4. A splash of Thayers Rose Petal was followed with a spritz of DC 1913 EdT.

    Great shave, from a "Rat Razor", I had restored, or tried to, a long while back. It truly is a fantastic shavine razor. Very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Great steel. I wish I had one NOS.

    Razor- C.F.Wolfertz. 13/16th inch. "Allentown" 1862-1873. 1/2 Hollow blade.
    Brush- JR#262. WD Silvertip
    Soap- Kingsman "Bourbon"
    Aftershave- Brut.

    I’ll jump on the rat razor theme...
    Couldn’t restore this one:

    Wade & Butcher FBU that still maintains a lot of its “rat” character. With as much time hacking away at it, I am glad it still gives up a great shave.
